Radiofrequency (RF) is one of the commonly used procedures for the treatment of skin laxity and fine lines. It is a completely safe treatment that can be applied to all skin types. A selective and controlled rise in tissue temperature from a high frequency alternating current is produced. The rising of temperature and the depth of heating depend on the level of energy used and on the body area treated. The induced thermal damage leads to contraction the existing collagen fibers and stimulates neocollagenesis in deep layers of the skin and subcutaneous tissue. In this way, skin tightness is achieved, fine wrinkles are reduced, resulting in a natural, time-resistant effect.
This treatment is applied to the face and body with equal effectiveness. It improves facial contours, tightens facial skin, smoothes fine lines and wrinkles, even in sensitive areas (around the eyes and mouth) and improves double-jaw. It is also applied to the abdomen, arms, thighs and buttocks, improving cellulite and providing smoothness and firmness of the skin. It can be combined with injectable therapy (mesotherapy, fat soluble) and PR 2 cell therapy for optimum results.
The duration of a therapeutic application varies from about 20-30’, depending on the area of application. To achieve the desired result, a cycle of 8-10 sessions repeated 1-2 times a week is recommended.
