It is a minimally invasive treatment, a bloodless lift that aims to non-surgically tighten and lift the skin of the face/neck.
The results are highly satisfactory and impressive in some cases, especially in combination with other injectable and non-injectable tightening and resurfacing treatments. The threads consist of polydiaxone or polylactic acid, absolutely safe absorbable materials.
They are divided into simple threads (PDO) and suspended threads (Pull Cog).
These are fully absorbable vascular sutures that are inserted into the skin with the help of a small fine needle without scarring.
A tiny mesh of threads is created in the case of PDOs, which is placed in the area almost painlessly to defeat skin sagging through the collagen they initially cause and through the fibrosis they create with their absorption after 2-3 months.
The production of collagen and elastin and the angiogenesis they cause continue for 1.5 to 2 years.
In the case of Pull Cog threads, small cones are along the thread, causing immediate "stretching" effects of loose skin.

The treatment takes less than an hour.
The treatment takes place with local anesthesia in the doctor's office, so the patient is not needed to stay in the area after the treatment. He returns immediately after applying to his work and his daily activities.
The effect lasts at least two years, but the patient can repeat the therapy before the two years have passed if one wants to place threads in other or the same areas.
It is not allowed to apply this treatment to pregnant or nursing mothers, people suffering from autoimmune diseases, or people with acute or chronic skin inflammations and allergies.
There are no severe complications other than bruising and swelling. Very rarely, the thread can break, which the doctor can correct immediately and effectively.
There is no required recovery time except for bruises that disappear within 3-5 days.
